Eldorado Posted September 26, 2017 #1 Share Posted September 26, 2017 A remote cave in Eastern Turkmenistan was found to shelter a marvelous cave-adapted inhabitant that turned out to represent a species and genus new to science. This new troglodyte is the first of its order from Central Asia and the first strictly subterranean terrestrial creature recorded in the country. +ouija ouija Posted September 26, 2017 #4 Share Posted September 26, 2017 Thank you. But the photo is of a centipede not the troglodyte (person who dwells in a cave), as promised in the first paragraph!
The Caspian Hare Posted September 26, 2017 #5 Share Posted September 26, 2017 Troglodyte can mean any animal that lives underground. I have been called a troglodyte. But not in that context.
