Tiffany Valiante was 18-years-old and had just graduated from Oakcrest High School in Mays Landing, New Jersey. Standing 6 feet 2 inches tall, she was a star athlete who had accepted a volleyball scholarship to Mercy College in New York. Tiffany had no history of mental illness, and was by all accounts excited to head to college at the end of the summer. She also had an intense fear of the dark, which was well known by her family, friends, and teammates.

On the night of July 12, 2015, Tiffany had been attending a graduation party for her cousin. The cousins lived across the street from each other, and Tiffany left the party on foot to return home at approximately 9:30pm. She then had a brief argument with her mother Diane in front of their home, because Diane had been told that evening by the mother of Tiffany’s best friend that Tiffany had made an $86 purchase on her friend’s debit card without permission. After, Diane went inside and Tiffany stayed out front. Minutes later when Diane went back outside, Tiffany was gone. Tiffany’s friends and family began searching for her.

This website has a detailed article, the photo from the deer camera, and the entire civil complaint that was filed this past July, which includes the report by the medical examiner who independently reviewed the autopsy report, crime scene photos, and other evidence.

^ In the article at the link, among concerns of the family was that investigators failed to obtain a psychological autopsy, but there's no mention as to what's preventing anyone now from doing so...Anyway...

Just from what little I've read about the case, I think a such would very likely support the (pathology) autopsy ruling, although I highly doubt the family would agree with the result/opinion of the consultation.

All you managed to do here was take parts of articles and piece them together, you dont know this family or Tiffany, obviously. Tiffany didn't argue with her mother that night, her mother simply wanted an explanation as to why her so called friend, along with her mother, came over that night just to flip out and scream at Tiffany, its called parenting, the arguement that shoud be paid attention to is the one with the friend, but it never is .This is a close knit family and always will be,no matter how many  internet geniuses out there think or say otherwise. Tiffany was beautiful, smart, athletic, and confident, she had  colleges offering her scholarships because of how good she was at volley ball, she dreamed of making it to the Olympics one day, she had plans and a bright future, there was so much more to her and her story  than the words written  in blogs and news articles. She wasn't struggling with her sexuality, and either was her family. It was such a non issue that to bring it up is ridiculous and a distraction. Are they a perfect family,of course not,but to spotlight one incident between mother and daughter in their 18 yrs together is grossly unfair and manipulative, and a psychological autopsy would tell you the same,no matter what the anonymous opinions of strangers are.I think they're the ones that would disagree with the findings.I'm sure I could raise the same doubts about you if this was your story, just pick out an arguement here,an incident there, and presto, your suicidal. And,just saying, how is it,that a lockeroom full of teamates and a couple of coaches never saw cuts on her.Thats not a question, just a fact. You should pay a little more attention to the people who claim to be her friends but dont have her back.
