Piney Posted October 20, 2017 #27 Share Posted October 20, 2017 Those litttle monsters are miniaturized Carolina dogs, which are the NDN domesticated Dingo. You expect them to be sweet?????

That's right... a frigging chihuahua. Ok, maybe not... but they COULD. It's true! A Shih-tzu attacked my son when he was about 6 months old. Tore his soft little face up in seconds. I have a dislike of small dogs. Especially ones that people let up on the couch or carry around. Those are almost always very aggressive dogs. As far as good dog breeds go, you can't beat a Bull mastiff.

Astra. Posted October 20, 2017 #36 Share Posted October 20, 2017 Such a funny thread .. We had a chihuahua years ago (a dog not by choice really) she was gifted to us as a teeny pup from a litter. Of course she was as cute as a button back then, as most puppies are....that was until her personality and temperament kicked in as she began to get older. In a nut shell, she was the most uptight, selfish, and yappity-yap neurotic pet that we had ever had. Sadly she died after escaping the yard (around the age of 5/6) after being hit by a car. Unfortunately, and it's awful to say...but my grief for her passing was short lived.

I call my boss's, whose name is Finn, Chumpy Head and Slobber Chops. He follows me around the farm and sawmill and knocks me over when he cuddles. Then he drags me around the door yard with his rope toy. But I only weigh about 130lbs so it isn't much effort for him.

White Unicorn Posted October 21, 2017 #42 Share Posted October 21, 2017 This post is so funny LOL In defense of being a doggie racist, I have seen a few nice ones. It was an AKC breeder's dogs.

Mark One Posted November 21, 2017 #45 Share Posted November 21, 2017 (edited) Ours is 4 years old and its called Rocky. His breed is - Little Comet - and boy is he quick. Info on Rocky Has the most cute, lovable face (at times when hes not got his "head on") Will lay on his back, in your arms like a baby. Eats mature cheddar, butter, ham, corned beef, sausage, spicy chicken wings. Has a sweet tooth too. Devours biscuits, doughnuts and likes a saucer of milk before bed. Detests Labradors, Rottweilers, Dalmatians, (insert here any other medium AND small sized dogs) He has circled a horse (with rider) with a warning from his fierce front nippers (teeth) Considers the universe his own territory. Pretty adept at punching/podding with his front paws Can go absolutely mental to such an high degree that he ends up fearless to anything. He waits for the post man & milk man to arrive and then greets them with severe growls, spin attacks and hind leg balance acts. To sum up Rocky is a split personality. A "cute likkle teddy bear" that can suddenly transform into a T-Rex on acid. Such insane displays often confuse other canines to such a degree that they swallow hard and then carefully back away. Vanillon Posted November 23, 2017 #46 Share Posted November 23, 2017 Chihuahuas honestly scare me. All those videos I've seen of owners kissing their dog on the head and then immediately getting growled at and having their faces bitten are so unsettling.
