Vincennes Posted December 8, 2017 #28 Share Posted December 8, 2017 I'm probably off on this thought but one thing that I questioned during the hunt for this killer was that after they had determined that these murders were done by a serial killer, they would go on to state that a motive had not been determined. To me, it seems like there is a bit of a conflict in expecting to find a motive for a serial killer. Other than those in which a twisted sexual urge is evidenced, is there really going to be another type of motive that normal people are going see and understand ? Doesn't the fact that they are a serial killer mean that their motive is just the act of killing ?

Inversion5 Posted January 10, 2018 #30 Share Posted January 10, 2018 (edited) If you look at the video/still pics of the suspected killer versus the man they arrested, it appears there is a different body build. The black and white pics show a man with a well defined chest versus the person arrested does not (flat chested). The killer is still loose. Furthermore, there must be ballistics involved, shooting right(?), and if the police have a slam dunk case, they would proceed as such (ballistics match the gun). Reading just a few articles, it does not seem it is a slam dunk case. Also, there were serial killings in the area before this most recent one. The man arrested and convicted was found guilty of 3 of the 5 murders. So it is possible there were two killers and one of them is loose and might be the same person that caused the most recent killings.
