Boston Dynamics' Atlas robot does backflips

Scientists have released footage showing a new robot jumping and even doing a backflip as it performs a gymnastics routine.

In the video, the latest version of Boston Dynamics' Atlas robot jumps between platforms and turns in mid-air before sticking the landing of a perfect backflip.

The scary part about this is the military and law enforcement applications for this. Does anybody want a weaponized one chasing them??? Other than that it's cool.

I believe there is a 'Scooby Treats' switch programmed into all canine related robotic controls in case of ... y'know ... accidents due to 'unaccountable circumstances'

I would like to hope. But those creatures are dark, really really,dark. I think my youngest is the reason for the black eyed children reports. He has a wall of movie serial killer weapon reproductions.

Please, keep them away from any from of a weaponized robot, will ya? :o And you can count yourself lucky, that those won't fit on your wall. Oh, And I'd love tos see a picture of that wall. :P
