  1. 1. Vote "YES" if you would like Clinton to run in 2020, and "NO", if you would not.

    • YES! The article is correct and she would be Great, and should run for President.

    • NO! This article is lame and she's just a bad candidate, and she should not run for President.

    • Meh? I don't care. She'd probably be OK, but probably not fantastic.

Bannon himself said he wants democrats talking about identity politics every day because he believes the repubs win that argument. Ironically the republicans actually do control this narrative. Decent people feel compelled to react to bigotry , just from a strategic standpoint all the repubs have to do is make a halfway bigoted remark and that becomes the narrative for 2 or 3 news cycles.

Hmm... thats an interesting analysis. Of course, it assumes that any discussion of identity is automatically bigoted. Consider that the term "identity politics" itself grew out of the American civil rights movement, and was heavily supported by the liberal wing of US politics.

Yes, but what happens is that the Democrat supporters get all outraged and indignant, and make themselves look petty and foolish yet again, and for the Trump it proves yet again that there really is not such thing as bad publicity.

It sure doesn’t help. Nobody wants to aide with someone who looks down on them.

That's pride and prejudice. The issue should be who is most capable, not personal opinion.

Comparable as in “basket of deplorables”. The things you said mirror that

Then it seems likely she was taken out of context. There is little doubt that the racist and gun comments appealed to the red neck mindset and secured that vote which is a considerable leg up. He didn't have great ideas he had great marketing strategies.

All that aside it was very much based on policies and merits, for me at least. She had no platform other than 4 more years of what we already had. I voted for Trump based on the things he campaigned on. Simpler tax codes, business friendly environment, immigration issues...

That was his hook, the non politician, yet everything has to go through congress anyway, so really, it looks like nothing has changed. Do you feel he has kept his word and enacted his promises?

I think that was probably the only attempt at a joke she's ever essayed. You can see why really can't you.

Pulling out of the climate agreement thing, reversing environmental protection so as to free Big Business to make as much profit as it wants, doing just whatever Israel wants..  in those respects, I think yes, he has.
