Black Monk Posted November 25, 2017 #1 Share Posted November 25, 2017 Archaeologists have unearthed workshops from a Viking camp dating to a winter in the 870s. The new discoveries are located at a campsite in the small village of Repton, Derbyshire, which has been known about since the 1970s. There were fragments of Saxon millstones and a cross fragment from the monastery, as well as broken pieces of weaponry including fragments of battle-axes and arrows. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-5104615/Radar-reveals-Viking-workshops-Repton.html#ixzz4zRNjcjWB
