I've become convinced in my discussions with these Trump supporters that it has less to nothing to do with not understanding how much these policies hurt innocent people, and more to do with the fact they don't care that it does. There was a clear cause and effect relationship. The law didn't just come out of nowhere. As is evident in my only other post in this thread. Canada did not have net neutrality until people raised enough of a stink that it forced the Government to act. Greedy ISPs (Internet Service Providers) throttled and controlled internet speeds as they saw fit because there was no oversight preventing them from doing so. I'm only trying to reason with you, but the problem doesn't seem to be in your ability to understand. You keep acknowledging the situation but insist you don't care. You don't care how it affects others, and only care about policies that affect you. That's essentially what you keep saying. If that's the case then there is no reasoning with you since the problem lies in your ability to empathize with others, rather than to understand their hardships.
