^ LOL, we felt so bad for him! In the back of our minds we wondered if the owner would return and not find him. Heaven only knows where he came from or how long he had been living in the lava.

Well, he does look pretty healthy for a stray, so you're probably right. Guess I'll start unpacking now.:(

IMG_20170602_172630.thumb.jpg.99263389155a70e9c89adeb5a5e5d4f8.jpgOne of my Buff Orpingtons decided to sit on a clutch of eggs today. They are known to be good setters. I'd love to have more peeps running around. If they hatch and are hens, they will likely lay olive green eggs as my Rooster is an Aricauna as all my hens lay shades of brown  except one, she lays green eggs.

This is Max, he turned up at our house 4 years ago and has been with us since.

He has an 'attitude', has cost a good sum in vet bills and hogs my side of the bed and refuses to budge.

If he's had enough fuss he'll thump his tail to let you know that he's about to savage your hand and if you try to cuddle him he often makes a noise like bagpipes, which is his way of saying "I'm about to scratch your face off"

we think the world of him IMAG0118_1.thumb.jpg.7e4de3f23b6cbcf17e5c2b2f968522f0.jpg

Does this count? It's a cat living in the neighborhood, which is often given water and food by myself. She loves me much and always lets me pet her!

She counts since you feed and care for her :)
