Starlyte,

Thank you so much for taking the time to read.

Sorry to say, that Rose Bush didn't make it to Florida from

California. I wish I knew if each December, it was still working

its magic.

Kismit.........

Thank you........ It wasn't easy to put into words, but to this day?

I still cannot find anyone to explain how that Yellow Rose appeared.

I do 'believe'.......... I really do.

"Sad" is part of Life, as is death.

Nancy, I lost my dad to cancer at age of 21..blessed more than some less than others... the week before he died he and I had a HUGE fight and were not talking. I knew the moment my dad died.. so much that I did not have to check my phone messages when I got home. There was much left unsaid and till I read what you wrote it reminded me of some things that have happened since in my life... so thank you grin2.gif

connecian ...

Thank you for sharing. I was quite young when I lost my Dad,

as well.

No matter the circumstances, there are always things left unsaid,

your situation must have been quite painful.

Glad to see you original.gif

thank you for sharing that story, Nancy. i believe that we live on after death. maybe we are limited in our interaction with the living world but i think your father found a way to let you know he was watching you and still loves you. that is comforting for all of us.

Bizarro.... You are more than welcome. Needless to say, I agree with your statement.

"The Yellow Rose" was written many years ago, in an effort for me to come to terms with my Dad's passing. Every word is 100% true.

Since SaRuMaN was kind enough to post it, and comments have been made by Members here, I've been thinking quite a bit about the circumstances surrounding that period of my life.

What is really unusual to me is.... My Dad never seemed to accept that "communication" from the Other Side was possible. On the other hand, my Mom and I had quite a "psychic" relationship meaning we connected mentally and could "read each other's minds" (which by the way, was rather tricky as a teenager... wink2.gif ) ........ Yet? It was my Dad who managed to find a way to communicate, at least in my humble opinion.

My Mom passed 9 years subsequent to my Dad. I've "heard" from her only twice, yet nothing as dramatic as my Dad.

A very beautiful story Nancy, and what a beautiful way for your father

to contact you. I am also a believer. I think sometimes our guardian

angels/spirits are loved ones and some are not, but still watch over us.

KC....... "The Yellow Rose" wasn't easy to put "pen to paper"... but I'm glad I did.

Thanks for taking the time to read and then post your feelings. I appreciate this!

Sky Watcher, thank you. Just know that each and every word was written with respect for my Dad, and with love for his reaching out to me.... from the Other Side.

Now? Blow you nose and smile....?? wink2.gif
