Anywayszs, I read about this somewhere and have been left wondering, there wasn't much input on it online: What is the difference between a unicorn and an alicorn? I heard from a source that alicorns can supposedly fly but unicorns can't. Anyone have any facts they wanna lay down? *Waves* Hey y'all, by the way! ;D Am I not the only who is captivated by these beautiful creatures? That was the first thing came to my mind too! Although I like the thought of unicorns being real. Anyone have any facts they wanna lay down? the alicorn is the spiraled horn of the unicorn... a unicorn is a legendary creature with the body of a horse, but with a single — usually spiral — horn growing out of its forehead (whence its name—cornus being Latin for 'horn')... Relics ornamented with supposed unicorn horns can be found in museums in Vienna and elsewhere in central Europe.
