I saw this and wanted to show you this amazing picture.

This is a picture taken by NASA with the Hubble telescope. They are referring to it as the "Eye of God".

It's kind of an old pic. It's very beautiful though. I also saw one of a Sombrero shaped nebula. lol i love this pic

There is a nebula that looks far more like an eye, though I have no idea where to find a pic.

This image is of a nebula, its not an eye, although it does have the appearance of one, being in space or 'the heavens' is why it was labelled 'eye of god'.

this does not belong in the spirituality board.

No apparently he's a cyclops so only ONE blue eye :tu:

But aren't most of the hubble images false color anyway?

Finished color images are actually combinations of two or more black-and-white exposures to which color has been added during image processing.

The colors in Hubble images, which are assigned for various reasons, aren't always what we'd see if we were able to visit the imaged objects in a spacecraft. We often use color as a tool, whether it is to enhance an object's detail or to visualize what ordinarily could never be seen by the human eye.

They really are beautiful pictures, unfortunately they are only an "artists interpretation".

i think its cool but it has nothing to do with god theres always ppl who try to say theirs religious things in nothing and other ppl begin "seeing" it after its made "popular"

The helix nebula. Beautiful scene. If you have celestia download it from the celestia motherload and you will be able to flay through it. I wander if it is still active?
