True.

Wouldn't want them to start their own team though. The games would be way too predictable.

yea they kick your ass winning by 40 touchdowns then ask every body if they could come to your house and use your bathroom. and be like i dont like public bathrooms i want to use yours

What puzzles me is that nobody in any of these stories actually says to the person(s) - "Hey, you've got totally black eyes!"

I mean it's very unusual, isn't it? Maybe one or two people might be very reticent to mention it, but I know I would ask why, and I'm a Brit - we're not known for our outright directness... <img src="http://www.unexplained-mysteries.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" />

I've spent most of the night reading this topic, I got to about page eighteen and decided to join the site so I could reply (plus it seems like an interesting place to hang out). I think what a lot of people that replied aren't understanding is that the eye is COMPLETELY black, not just the color of the iris, but the WHOLE ENTIRE eye (white parts and colored parts). Everyone knows that many people have dark brown and even black eyes (whether because of genetics or medical disorders), however that ISN'T what they are talking about here. Yes, they could have easily been contacts, but think about it logically. If the stories about the children are true but aren't anything "supernatural", what parent would allow their under thirteen year old child to wonder about ALONE at night, wearing "creepy" contacts so they can frighten random people? Does that actually sound logical to you? I am not saying the stories are all hundred percent true, however most of the "skeptic" sides of the story aren't particularly logical, either. Some adults or older teenagers could wonder about with "creepy" contacts to scare people, sure. However, that still wouldn't explain the children at all (which it seems most sightings are of children).

In the time before advanced science, people believed diseases and infections were demonic possession (or something along those lines), the earth was believed to be flat and numerous species we know today weren't even discovered then (just to name a few things). So, it is perfectly plausible that there are other species, creatures, whatever you want to call them that modern science (in all it's wonder) has yet to discover or document. We are still discovering new creatures and species in the Amazon, the Oceans and other lesser explored areas of the world, yes they are usually small reptiles, fish or mammals, but it still proves we don't have all the answers to life's questions. Imagine if the human race never questioned the world being flat or any of the other misconceptions that have been proved wrong over the last few centuries, imagine how we would be as a people now. It's not a pretty thought, I assure you. I am not saying you have to believe in little gray men or ape men living in our woods, but you could at least have an open mind and say there COULD be undiscovered species out there that people are misunderstanding as "evil creatures". For the record, I have had first hand accounts with evil or demonic activity in my youth, so I am no non-believer about evil in this world, however I also understand that humans are vain and always assume we know everything, that we are everything, out there and it's just not the truth.

Now, on with the main topic, I have never seen or met anyone who had ALL black eyes, however I have met people that act exactly like they do, minus the abnormal eye sockets. One theory that I haven't seen mentioned (and it could be we just don't have a lot of religious members), however it COULD be something demonic (I know, I know everyone always jumps to there, but I have had personal experiences in that area), it would account for them needing to be invited in. Most demonic entities I have come across or heard about need invited in (whether through fear, acknowledgment, spoken word, etc), although this is not always the case (because nothing is hundred percent). These could be weaker "demons", which NEED you to invite them in somehow (it would also explain why many of the "victims" have the over powering urge to not show fear when near them). Eyes are the windows to the soul, whether that is psychically or mentally true, most of us do believe this (which is why many of us are drawn to the eyes when we meet a new person). Also, for another theory (gotta spice things up, you know? ;] ) the eyes could not be psychically black, however the "victim" could be more sensitive to the "paranormal" and they could be seeing the truth that lies beneath it all (which could explain why they don't always notice the black eyes at first). Let's just say, if I ever met one I would ignore them, show no fear and move on. I refuse to invite any of that bull into my head or my home.

I think there are a lot of kids in the city that are out late at night. Their parents are either alcoholics or drug addicts and don't even know that their kids are out.

Hmm, that could be perfectly true (and I am sure it is). Although, I don't know about where you live, however we have a curfew for those under a certain age. So, if kids, let's say ten or eight years old (like in one of the stories), were wondering about alone, the patrolling officers in the area would end up doing something about it. If officers weren't in the area, most adults I know would call the police if they saw young kids (or even teens) out wondering alone late at night. I am sure there are many cases in which places didn't have a curfew, didn't have many patrols and didn't have many concerned adults, so young children/etc wondering alone, wearing contacts to scare strangers could go unnoticed. Though it does bring up the question how children of alcoholics, drug addicts, etc could afford contact lenses that usually go for at least $100 dollars a pair (if lucky, most I saw and most that were posted were double that) and why they would waste the money on such items (when usually in those situations they need all the spare money they have just to eat daily). Also consider for a moment, most places online (at least the more legit ones) need permission from an eye doctor to purchase the special contacts and most stores I have been into wouldn't sell them to a minor (I tried to buy an electric blue pair once in the mall when I was sixteen and they refused. I am sure there is always a possibility not all places are like that, however, it is something that should be considered when one jumps straight for the "it's just contacts, get over it dude" argument, not saying you are like that, just putting it out there). I am also not trying to justify the stories, I am just trying to look at the facts given in a logical manner :]

People of UM, there is likely no such thing as BEKs. If you examine the evidence before you, you will see how absurd the stories always are.

My best friend's little sister has completely black eyes.... It's kinda scary, She's not evil or anything, but she seems to KNOW things, if you catch my drift.

Be careful, not all things that look "mysterious" or "all-knowing" even "wise" are indeed so... like any ghost or spirit being would appeal to the curious mind SIMPLY because of them being supernatural, but not all ghosts are INTELLIGENT... not all ghosts "know things" and are either born (made) dumb and/or are blinded by their own stupidity....

Here is my recent experience. Creepy similarity with @science101 I wasn't able to capture the black eyed entity on camera though I should have. She was missing from the picture.

Black eyed Children/People; Must be invited in to enter vehicle/dwelling, can read thoughts, move extremely fast, 1 person saw them disintegrate into a haze/mist of ash like substance and disappear, are pale skinned, are only seen at night, and have SOLID black eyes. 1 Encounter that did let them in says she remembers losing time and waking up as the kids were leaving while telling them goodbye and that their parents were outside.

Vampires have way to many similarities to dismiss this as a theory imo. This thread is long and i didn't read it all yet... apologies if i'm late.

Yes, apparently these mythical fantasy entities have the same ability that the Thunderbirds had - namely they can detect a camera from miles away..  and then, conveniently, they vanish without a trace.

Why, it's almost as if they never existed......

Only thing real about them is the chills I get hearing stories about them listening to the radio deep in the woods at night.

I got up and knocked on the door in the back of the coffee shop where she went in. At this time, there were only two dim lights in the main eating area, and barely any lights in the back room where she was. I opened the door. This woman who I just finished talking to was standing facing me, JUST STANDING THERE in the back of this dark room when I opened the door. Her skin was suddenly a clammy, cracked olive color, and her eyes were just BLACK. I mean, no white at all. Her eyes and mouth was open really wide, and she was screaming in the most spine-chilling sounds, something I couldn't understand, but it definitely wasn't sounds of goodwill.

I literally SCREAMED myself, and she started moving from one spot to the other through the room. Not running, just MOVING. Her clothes now looked all old, and she moved so fast; the back of the room must have been 15 feet or so back, and she just DARTED from one side of the back of the room, still facing me, to the other side, at an IMPOSSIBLE speed. Then she ran directly straight at me as I was now standing away from the door in the middle of the restaurant.

I'm sorry, but some of these stories sound like pure fiction. Like some of those were made up by story writers. But otherwise, there may indeed be something to this phenomenon. A theory - they are the product of the Illuminati's (witches/satanists) area 51 and or other underground military base gov/science experiments. The intelligence behind their technologies and advancements are given by their ruler - lucifer/fallen angels, aka the devil. That is the reason why they are dark, negative, malicious and appear/disappear through demonic/occult power.
