Stupid me... I have Photoshop 4.0 and

cannot figure out how to use the canvas-size deal to put two

jpgs onto the "canvas" and then save it as one jpg.

I want to put two head shots from the PG Film into one jpg, because they show

that the head has MORPHED from one to the other -- human to ape.

I am stuck with scanning each on same screen and then saving, but this loses some detail

Help!!!

Let's say both JPG's are 2 inches by 2 inches. You would need a canvas of 2 inches high by 4 inches long. You open both JPG images, copy one to the left half of the canvas, copy the other to the right half of the canvas, edit it if you want, flatten the image, save as JPG.

At least I assume that's what you want. original.gif

And if you want to keep the quality high, when you save as a jpeg make sure the quality slider says 12/high. apart from that, darkshade nailed it.
