also imagine if you were to teleport someone over any distance you would need to be able to store the pattern in something, before you teleport it so it knows how to put it back together again, the amount of computer memory that would take would be astronomical, due to the complexity of the task. for example scietists recently went and scanned a human in a CAT scanner and put each scan on the internet, now it was held at the time that if you were to go to the site and have a look then you would need broadband or an equivelent and at least a week where you did not need the computer, as it would be busy downloadiing it. and that was only a picture of it, try douing it with the real thing.
