Uploader comment: My brother took this picture years ago. I believe when the digital cameras first came out. Any ideas why the two shadowy figures are there? Maybe a flash malfunction? It's been bothering me for a long time, an explanation would be appreciated. Thank you.

It is one of the most interesting picture I've seen lately ...I don't think it is just a light anomaly...If you zoom in you can see the outline of a person and the another person's head hidden alongside ...

What do you assume it is? I sent this photo to a few sites, perhaps they can tell me more about this picture. I have yet to receive a message.

I downloaded the photo to my pc, I scanned with photoshop and indeed those that do appear are two human silhouettes (the right full figure seems to take his hands in prayer) ...in my opinion, are not simple lighting effects, but it's just my opinion ...expected to know the answer of the sites to which you sent the photo

not like any light or flash anomaly I've ever seen...perhaps another light source and peoples shadows but if the main subject was the only person there this may be a good find.

I feel that you're reaching for explanations that aren't there. It's simply a light anomaly that appears to be the outline of the human form. Humans look for the familiar in everything we see, and what's more familiar than the human form? This is why the Rorschach test exists.

It's the relection of someone, the person must have been standing in a doorway of a very lighted room, perhaps it was the person taking the pic and there was someone else near him, probably a child, it obvious the flash did the whole anomaly, kind of a mirror effect.
