ya where do the get the name "hanging gardens?" and i think the artist purposefully put the tower of babel in teh background. what sucks is that it doesnt exist anymore. pity

HEY ROBRAMPAGE THE BUILDING IN THE DISTANCE LOOKS LIKE THE TOWER OF BABEL FROM THE BOOK OF GENESIS (BIBLE). ISNT IT?

I suppose these were called "hanging gardens" because there were all kinds of hanging plants? But none of the pictures I see ever depict this. There aren't even that many plants in this depiction!

These gardens are magnificent, But the sad thing is they don't exist nomore. even a modern garden ain't fantastic as the Hanging Garden

where were these gardens supposedly situated? why was this garden so special? is there any pictures that still exist from this time, of these gardens?
