Image status: EXPLAINED The Tasmanian Tiger ( Thylacine ) was a real animal that was hunted to extinction in Australia in the 19th and early 20th century.

They still have them on beer bottles, thanks to Cascade Brewery Tasmania. Good beer, too.

There are also sighting in Australia. Lots actually. But they have been extinct in Australia for over 3000 years supposedly.

Actually, I was watching Animal Planet and they had a Tasmanian Tiger fetus which they where trying to get DNA and put it in a dog's egg. Very complecated.
