Uploader comment: A Red Panda in Canadas Valley Zoo. It's So Cute! It looks more to me like a fox than a bear. But it's called a Red Panda so I guess its a bear. (?)

Image status: EXPLAINED The red panda is a genuine animal a little larger than a domestic cat.

Pandas themselves aren't really bears. They are more closely related to raccoons.

Giant Pandas (black and white bamboo eating things) are bears. Red Pandas are part of the raccoon family. Why was this uploaded here?
