Uploader comment: An image from 1875 in which Édouard Isidore Buguet allegedly levitates a chair through telekinesis.

Image status: HOAX A well known hoax, Buguet was actually sent to prison in the same year this was taken for fraudulent activities including the production of fake ghost photographs.

I love Victorian era photos. I don't care what kind of fakery is in them, and the fakery is EASY to spot.
