Uploader comment: This photo was taken by my Fujifilm Finepix AX245W. It is a 12MP camera and I took this photo of a house across the street from my dad, the flash was on. I didn't see anything when the flash went off because usually you can see smoke or mist through the light but there was nothing. I took the camera up to my dad and loaded it onto the computer to take a closer look, I can see a figure but I would like your opinion on it, and I swear this has not been touched by photoshop, simply because I don't own it. There was no Smoke, Fog or Mist out in the street, it wasn't cold enough to cause your breath to turn to steam, there was no cars running to cause any smoke or fumes and nobody was smoking. Please give me your opinions.

I live in Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland. Carrickfergus is known for such weird happenings.

By the way, that red mark at the top right hand corner is the glare from a street light that is out of view

Why were you taking a picture of your dads neighbors house at night? That's the real question.

The problem with "Mist/Fogs/Plasma" anomalies is that nearly all, if not all, are explained by natural phenomenon. I wont allow any "evidence" to be submitted when my investigators view something like this. In order to have hard facts, you have to dismiss anything that can be explained, especially with something like this that is so easily explained. A general rule of thumb when trying to be a reputable paranormal investigator, don't even acknowledge "Orbs, mist, smoke, "plasma," and the like." They are just too easily debunked and I'd bet over 9...

Seriously? This is horrible. It's nothing more than a contaminated scene. This is clearly either tobacco smoke or breath. Probably the former.

It could be breath, it could be smoke, but it could also be ectoplasm. I also find it interesting that no one has mentioned the orb on the roof.

Camera flash is so fast you usually will not see steam from breath or smoke or moisture in the air when the photo is being taken. I have dozens of photos like this. But, they are not paranormal.
