Creature that ran out on road

Creature that ran out on road
Image is believed to be in the public domain.

Uploader comment: Ok, so I was out for a drive late last night and got lost in the country. while passing through a small forested section, I saw this run out in front of my car. I was driving so I couldnt get a picture, but I redrew it. I wanted to get your opinions on what you think this might be. It had no hair at all, and the skin was a pink, fleshy color.

Also, if it was night time, how did you depict such dark eyes? surely if it ran in front of your car at late night your head lights would be on. Providing the light that should have reflected off of a creatures eyes, not keep them remaining utterly black.
