Couple 'attacked by UFO' at Brown Mountain

A strange newspaper story has emerged detailing an alleged attack on a couple by an unidentified object.
The story originates from an Asheville newspaper clipping posted to the web page of paranormal investigator Thomas Byers. According to the report, a couple had been visiting Brown Mountain in North Carolina in an attempt to catch a glimpse of the mysterious ghost lights that have been sighted there over the years.

After watching and waiting for two hours the couple finally saw some lights to the west, but rather than sitting back to enjoy the spectacle the pair were instead confronted with a strange flying object that headed towards them and actually bumped in to the top of their car.
The bizarre tale goes on to claim that as the couple attempted to drive away the object held the vehicle in place, preventing their escape. During the struggle, the object allegedly hit the roof with such force that the back window smashed and the car was crushed by about eight inches.

While there's little to corroborate this story so far, on his web page Byers has reported seeing a local Cable News Station Channel 12 broadcast detailing the incident and which included footage of the damage sustained by the vehicle.

It's possible that more information will surface on this one in the coming days.

Searched the archives of the Asheville Citizen Times (Sept. 7, 2013)... no such story.

and who *doesn't* have a camera/video camera on their phones these days? To be fair, up until a few weeks ago I didn't...

Whats not to believe? I have ET's trying to trash my car at least once a week. I finnaly had to get one of those ET repellent loud speakers that draw power from my tin foil hat.

Crazyhorsesghost makes these stories up and then places them in as newspaper articles. They showed up about 3-4 months ago with these off the wall articles and not one is true in any way, shape or form. Several other sites have bitten on these stories and quite frankly, just by examining the "newspaper" itself is a blatant giveaway. In fact, they use the same template every time. As soon as you see "Crazyhorsesghost" as the source, don't even waste your time.

damage to a car would indeed leave trace evidence, and while I don't necessarily believe the story to be genuine, a damaged car, damaged by a ufo, would have some excellent forensic evidence to be examined...if it really happened. Which I dont believe it did. Tho as ever, Im happy to be proved wrong Well, you could certainly match the paint from the alien spacecraft! (I'm guessing Celestial Blue or Pleiades Sliver.) Then there's the criminal case for hit and run and of course the inevitable legal action. Of course having the sheriff serve them paperwork will be interesting.

Not forgetting the claim for whiplash of course

I hope these Alien persons have insurance and are old enough to pilot a space vehicle, and hadn't been to the local bar.
