3 people 'possessed' when using Ouija board

Three people ended up being rushed to hospital after being allegedly possessed during a Ouija session.

Alexandra Huerta, her brother Sergio and their cousin Fernando Cuevas had been playing around with a Ouija Board in the Mexican village of San Juan Tlacotenco when all three of them started to exhibit strange behavior.

Within minutes of beginning the session, Alexandra was said to have fallen in to a deep trance-like state before growling maniacally like a dog and thrashing around uncontrollably.

Sergio and Fernando soon began to experience strange symptoms of their own including vivid hallucinations, blindness and deafness. A local Catholic priest was called in to perform an exorcism but he allegedly refused to do so because none of them were regular churchgoers.

Paramedics who eventually attended the scene found themselves having to forcibly restrain Alexandra for her own safety before taking all three of them to hospital. A combination of painkillers and anti-stress medication was said to have been effective at treating their symptoms.

"The medical rescue of these three young people was very complicated," said public safety director Victor Demeza. "It appeared as if they were in a trance-like state, apparently after playing with the Ouija board. They spoke of feeling numbness, double vision, blindness, deafness, hallucinations, muscle spasm and difficulty swallowing."

Ouija board...pfft! What a load of old nonsense! Seen this reported in The Daily 'Fail' as we call it here, and a few people including myself in the office called the girls behavior a result of drug abuse...was not one bit surprised to hear that it was!

Strange how drugs and tequila among three wasted teens can create a situation where they act crazy and possessed....

I always think it's what the board represents in the mind that causes the potential complications, heck I even cover mirrors up if I have one in a room I sleep in, I just don't get involved with anything that has a backdoor kinda concept to it, I don't believe in such simple boxes as heaven or hell but I sure as crap believe in energies and creatures not so different than the big cats and moths alike that go about their business in the corridors we don't appreciate too much, just a different kinda scale, add deviance or cunning to that layer and you get something not too cool t... It's interesting how you never see a story in the media about people who used the Ouija board and were suddenly overcome with intense feelings of love and bliss -- so much so, they were fairly stunned for a few days, feeling a sense of timelessness, free of objective delusions and feeling just 100% totally connected and part of the most fundamental loving Force that is the ground of all experience. This happens very occasionally with Ouija board channeling, a lot of people have experienced it, but it just doesn't make for a good news story. I used to be "part of the problem"... [More]

Yeah I have heard of these 'sessions' before, they take a variety of drugs in order to heighten their connection with the spiritual world. Not so much a spiritual journey, more like a bad trip if you ask me lol

Believe what you want, of course. I don't profess to know much. Most of what people experience is in their head as you say. One question though, who are you hanging out with that would "summon" demons and such to you?
