An ancient manuscript discovered at the British Library suggests that Jesus was married and had children.
Originally written in Aramaic, the controversial 'Lost Gospel' is believed to date back over 1,500 years.
Translating the ancient text took months, however experts now believe that it references the fact that Jesus was married and that the original Virgin Mary was actually his wife, not his mother.
It is also thought to state that the couple had two children.
This isn't the first time that Mary Magdalene has featured heavily in alternative Biblical history. For many years there have been theories suggesting that Magdalene was in fact the fabled Holy Grail, a concept that has also been popularized by Dan Brown's book The Da Vinci Code.
Further details contained within the pages of the newly discovered manuscript, including the possible names of Jesus' children, are set to be revealed on Wednesday.
