Searle Disc
A device created by John Searle reported to have been capable of Anti-Gravity flight. Searle used a rotating metal plate which built up a high electrical charge on the outside rim. He believed that at sufficiently high rotational velocities electrons would be centrifugally thrown to the outside rim.
Searle allegedly did a number of experiments with various sizes of Searle Disc, some of which elevated a considerable distance into the air, over 50 feet or more.
