Inside the baby mind

For centuries it was believed that the mind of a baby was somewhat devoid of thought, however new research has revealed that it is actually in a state of hyperawareness and can take in huge amounts of information.

What is it like to be a baby? For centuries, this question would have seemed absurd: behind that adorable facade was a mostly empty head. A baby, after all, is missing most of the capabilities that define the human mind, such as language and the ability to reason."

Actually, most animals don't "think" at all. They associate and are creatures of real time. In other words, they live in the moment.I think babies think based on feelings. Either something makes them feel good or bad and then reasoning stats to come into play from there. JMO.

Interesting. A conversation about infant intelligence has quickly turned to a conversation about juvenile body parts. Probably both more akin to sensation than reason.

A baby's mind seems pretty similar to the effect psychedelics have on people. Breaking down the barriers of the mind, giving people a sense of wonder about the world around them, possible loss of ego.
