M-81 black hole bigger than thought

Astronomers have determined that the supermassive black hole at the center of the M87 galaxy is at least twice as large as previously thought, weighing 6.4 billion times the mass of our Sun it is the largest black hole ever measured.

"Using a new computer model, astronomers have determined that the black hole in the center of the M87 galaxy is at least twice as big as previously thought."
