Haunted rentals: advertising a ghostly room

In the housing market homeowners and property managers do their best to attract renters to their advertisements including a growing trend to claim their property to be haunted - but how well can such claims be trusted ?

The Tucson housing market is teeming with houses and apartments for rent. On Craigslist alone, hundreds of rental opportunities scream for attention. Homeowners and property managers try to convey that one unique quality that will draw the eyes of a potential renter to their ad.

This does not surprise me. I just wonder how many people would avoid the property/ room based upon the information that it is haunted. While a haunted place may be fun to visit living in one is whole other story.

In Kentucky, if you believe your house to be haunted, it's against the law to put it up for sale without making sure possible buyers know about it. That includes calling in a team to verify/debunk paranormal activity.
