Letters frozen in time arrive after 60 years

Letters from an airliner that crashed on Mont Blanc 60 years ago have been found and reunited with their recipients.

There were no survivors of the crash which saw the Malabar Princess crash in to the mountains 60 years ago on its way to London, but after decades on the mountainside a mailbag from the plane was finally picked up by a geography student who has vowed to deliver the items of mail to their intended recipients.

It took them three days, but their search proved in vain. There were no survivors from the 40 passengers and eight crew of the Malabar Princess, an Air India Lockheed Constellation bound for a stopover in Geneva on its way to London.

Aren't they all? After all, there were no survivors. =) But that's sweet of the student who found them to want to get them to their intended destination. It may stir up pain in some, but in others it will give them one more thing by which they can hold onto their lost loved ones by.
