Rocks on Mars may reveal early life

Researchers believe they have pinpointed rock formations on Mars that could contain fossil evidence of early life.

The find comes from studies comparing formations of rocks on Mars with similar ones in Australia that are known to contain evidence of early life on Earth.

U. S. researchers say they've identified rock formations on Mars that could contain fossilized remains of early life on the planet.
