A photograph taken at a wedding reception at Newman Wine Vaults appears to show an unwelcome extra.
A friend of the bridge and groom had been taking pictures when she came running out shouting "Look what I just took! Look what I just took! There's somebody in the picture!" The eerie image appears to show a white figure on the right hand side of the shot hovering above the soundboard.
People at a wedding reception at the Newman Wine Vaults in St. John's believe they caught an image of an uninvited and otherworldly guest. Newlyweds Matt White and Danielle Hann said one of their friends was shocked by the digital image she took at the June 18 event.

Looking at it, it appears that the ghost is wearing a white t-shirt and has a black strap (possibly a camera strap??) on his shoulder. I am thinking it was like a double exposure and the person took a picture of a living wedding guest. Of course, i could be wrong and it could really be a ghost. Really cool pic, if it's real I think that's a line/crack/pipe on the wall. If it was a camera strap over somones shoulder, it would curve with the body's shape.

Like Bezum, I've gotten the same effect when I take a photo and forget to correct the long exposure time. Someone walks by and poof, there's your ghost. Such as: Here's the image brightened. Looks like someone dressed up with suspenders and a big tacky flower, maybe a groomsman. You can also see horizontal lines going across the path in front of him and behind him. Likely he walked into the frame, paused where you see the more obvious form, then continued on:

Reading articles like this, means the people who subscribe to this page like unexplainable things, and that we believe there are such things as for instance ghosts. It seems all of you are so eager to "explain" everything, you're taking all the fun out of the mystery!

People post on these forums seeking answers and/or closure regarding events that they've come across. So we try to give them to them as concretely as possible.

Looks like long exposure... Long exposure. It's in a low light area, the whole picture is blurry and overexposed. The person took the picture thinking it was taken then move the camera away while it kep exposing the photo. Can't believe some people are thinking this is a ghost. Absolutely long exposure. Being a musician I see a lot of soundboards, and none have LED's that are that bright. Especially in a photograph. The only thing that would cause that is long 'over' exposure.

It's very clearly a prolonged exposure. Not a ghost at all. People are so damn stupid.

How is this even a wedding photo? Pretty crappy wedding....no one shows up, and it's in a tunnel? This pic looks like it may have been taken through (dirty?) glass and the 'ghost' is just a reflection.

Someone moved while the shutter was open. Digital cameras are finicky. I know my Nikon DSLR, in low light will sometimes do strange things.
