Residents of Windsor have been experiencing strange vibrations in the ground for several months.
Up until now little has been done to determine the cause and many people have considered it more of a joke than anything serious. Councillor Al Maghnieh has taken up efforts to get to the bottom of the mystery. "This is potentially very dangerous," he said.
For months, residents of south and west Windsor have been wondering and worrying about vibrations of unknown origin. And now, those mysterious rumblings under the city have found a new believer — the city's Ward 10 Coun. Al Maghnieh, who says it's time to start taking the phenomenon seriously.

I live in London, (UK,) and if I sit on the bench in the grassy bit at the bottom of my road it is possible to feel the rumblings of the tube trains as they go past underground. I have no idea how deep down the line is (probably not very) as it emerges into the open at the next station but it really spooked me the first time I felt it, until I figured out what it was. My other thought was of a news story a little while ago in the UK when a company started 'fracking' near Blackpool, http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2011/jun/01/blackpool-earthquake-tremors-gas-drilling I wonder if it might be a simi... Hey i lived on a farm in rural NSW Australia for ten years and on a clear day it was not unusual to hear rumblings in the distance, I asked a few people about this who had lived in the area all their lives and they had no explanation for it but accepted it as part of where they lived. The ground didn't rumble and not a cloud in sight. Still felt a bit freaky, at first I didn't like being alone but I got used to it.

yeah.. a possible danger, there might be some gradual boulder movement underneath the earth in your area. Maybe there is also some hollow part underneath that is becoming unstable.

Unearthly sounds of Earth perplexing scientists: Strange unearthly sounds heard around Earth are perplexing scientists, especially when similar sounds are heard at the same time. The sounds are described as "running trains," while others are described as trumpets or booming sounds. All are unearthly. YouTube.com is full of videos displaying strange sounds from all over the world, with viewers asking for explanations. They vary in countries and states---with many heard at the same time but in different locations of Earth. Source
