Air Aroma have released a bizarre perfume that smells like a new Apple product being opened.

Experts came up with the fragrance for 'Eau de MacBook Pro' after an extensive selection process to get the perfume to smell exactly like plastic wrap, cardboard and other materials associated with opening a brand new Apple product for the first time. "The scent requested by our client was quite unusual so we contacted our fragrance suppliers in the South of France to send over samples of fragrances with the aroma of glue, plastic, rubber and paper," said company representative Alex Cosic.

"The fragrance was requested by Melbourne based artists Gavin Bell, Jarrah de Kuijer and Simon McGlinn, for their exhibition entitled ‘De facto Standard’ where it will be diffused throughout."

I have to admit, I DO love the smell of brand new electronics but I don't think I'd like that scent on a woman. I prefer perfumes that smell like vanilla or cotton candy on women.

I prefer perfumes that smell like vanilla or cotton candy on women. The scent of a woman can stay with you for life; it can permeate your heart and soul.

youd like to smell like brand new electronics? thats kinda weird. A brand new guitar amp smells awesome when you power it up for the first time. Especially if you power it up right after breakfast and the smell of BACON is still in the air too. Okay.... Yeah, I can see where that's a little weird. i like vanilla. cotton candy smells a bit weird lol I don't think it's weird but then again I would proably enjoy waffle scented perfume as well.

Will they make a cheaper version that has lag with a hint of hard drive overheating?

Trying to mimic the smell of plastic!! Why? Just use the plastic. It's much cheaper. I'll even sell ya a bit. Recycling is good!
