London's Hayward Gallery is to break the mould by putting several piece of 'invisible' art on display.

The unusual exhibition will cost 8 to visit and is aimed towards "firing the imagination" of those who come to see it. Featuring works from Andy Warhol, Yves Klein, Yoko Ono and more, the exhibition is believed to be the first of its kind ever staged in a major UK institution.

Among the works is the descriptively titled "1000 Hours of Staring" which consists of a blank piece of paper, and the more enigmatic "Untitled (A Curse)" which features an empty space said to be cursed by a witch.

"London's Hayward Gallery will gather together 50 ''invisible'' works by leading figures such as Andy Warhol, Yves Klein and Yoko Ono for its display of works you cannot actually see."

Click to enlarge so you can see the fine detail: I really think I have a chance of getting in their gallery!

Bingo! Was thinking the same thing, since I paint and draw whenever in my freetime. Even though I'm not much of an artist IMO, still...it's insulting regardless.

Well I dont understand how there can be a right or wrong. Maybe if someone is familiar with a certain artist they will imagine something along a similar style. Almost like how I imagined all the types of corny responses that would come after reading the heading of this thread after being in this forum for such a time. Anyway and I guess it just takes a more famous artist to have an idea recognized. I think they are exploring and just experimenting which I suppose is something artists do.

I wonder if they added this to the exhibition? This is just part of the story:

It would appear that if you are a known artist you can get away with anything. Sometimes I think these artists take us 'common' folk as gullible fools. I wont even mention what I think of those stuck up sticky beak art critics lol
