In retrospect, storing $15,000 in cash inside his kitchen oven probably wasn't the best of ideas.

The unidentified man from Sydney received the bundle of notes after selling his car and decided that the safest place to store them for the time being was inside his oven because it was rarely used. Unfortunately on that same day his wife decided to cook some chicken nuggets and the money was baked in to a big purple mess.

"It was everything I had," said the man. "I've got nothing to my name. That money was supposed to go towards my mortgage." According to the bank there may be a chance that at least some of the money can be redeemed if he takes the damaged notes to his local branch.

"His wife was equally distraught and, reportedly, could not stop crying when telling her husband after she discovered what happened: The cash was baked into a colorful burnt mess."

By the way, why in the hell those this story is on the internet?? Probably fake. You should never rush to doubt tales of stupidity, Schizoid78. In my opinion. I can remember reading a local news story long before the interwebs where a guy had tried to hang himself, from his window. So everyone could see his plight. But, sadly for him he made the rope too long, so only ended up with shattered ankles and neighbours who laughed every time they saw him again. Kinda sad, I know but also hilarious. In my opinion.

lol seem everyone is worried about what happened to the chicken nuggets which is understandable. Who in their right mind stores cash like that at home and in an oven of all places?
