The results of the new study will be revealed on the 80th anniversary of the first modern sighting.

Statistical ecologist Dr Charles Paxton is collating a complete catalogue of all Loch Ness Monster sightings to have taken place in modern times. The results will be revealed at a conference this weekend on the anniversary of the first modern sighting - that of Drumnadrochit hotel manageress Aldie Mackay who witnessed a strange creature in the water in 1933.

"I am carrying out a statistical analysis of Loch Ness monster accounts since 1933, specifically looking for clusters in terms of what is reported," said Dr Paxton. "In some cases there are multiple witnesses, or witnesses giving multiple accounts of the same event, which allow us to test eyewitness consistency."

"An expert delving deep into the history of Nessie spotters is to reveal his findings on the 80th anniversary of the first modern-day sighting."

Hell, I'm 60 and I still walk upright......although, I do need Tylenol from time to time now. .....and Viagra, but that's to keep something else upright. What? I meant he still walks upright after catching those big fish for so long (not his age per say)!!! I just feel it in my back when watching him. He catches such big dawgs.

.....and Viagra, but that's to keep something else upright. What? Did you catch the Fnding Bigfoot episode in Vermont Connecticut and Bobo's comment to Renee in the woods when she tried tree knocking with a stick that disintegrated? I won't repeat it here.

There was an episode where he was reeling in a 300lb stingray, when the line broke as well as an arm tendon at the same time. It was a giant freshwater stingray in the Mekong river. It broke his heavy duty carbon fiber pole as well.

It was a giant freshwater stingray in the Mekong river. It broke his heavy duty carbon fiber pole as well. A 4 hour struggle, it was a stubborn stingray. It was the pole, thought it was the line.

A 4 hour struggle, it was a stubborn stingray. It was the pole, thought it was the line. They can be hard to bring in. My husband caught a lot of them off the coast. I hooked the biggest and had to hand it over to him after a while and then he and another friend took turns reeling it in. It took a long time as it kept suckering down on the bottom. Plus, it was easily over 3 feet across. When it finally broke the shoreline and we saw it the line broke and off it went. We were so thrilled to see this huge creature so close up. It was beautiful. The fiesty 2-4 foot sharks we caught along the same... [More]
