Searching for the Florida 'Skunk Ape'

When Jennifer Ward drives through the Green Swamp these days, she makes sure she has a camera in her car. She hopes she'll get the chance to capture for others an image is already seared into her memory, and she knows only a picture will persuade others that she really did see something bizarre one evening a few months ago.

"I've heard about Big Foot and stuff," Ward says. "I didn't really think it existed, but I'm convinced now.

ive been tracking the skunk ape for close to 2 years now and it seems every time there is a hurrican the ape shows it self, I think the main reason you cant find any foot prints is because of the peat in the swamp if you ever try to stand in it you sink and you have mud up to your ankles, and when you pull your feet out the mud/peat comes with them. and hair is just hard to find out there, unless your a csi.

You know... the Skunk Ape is what lead me here to UM.....
