news icon rRecent years have seen the emergence of a rumour that float around the internet like moths to a flame about a crashed UFO in the Black Forrest in 1936 which was spirited away to the dark heart of Nazi Germany.

There it was to be dismantled and dilligently studied by, it is claimed, the members of the Vril Society.

This part of the article is good also.

Tesla wrote in his article A Fairytale of Electricity, published on September 9, 1915 in Manufacturers' Record: "...Moses was undoubtedly a practical and skillful electrician far in advance of his time. The Bible describes precisely, and minutely, arrangements constituting a machine in which electricity was generated by friction of air against silk curtains, and stored in a box constructed like a condenser. It is very plausible to assume that the sons of Aaron were killed by a high-tension discharge, and that the vestal fires of the Romans were electrical..."

Nazi's have a UFO recovered or did....?

Well been so many conspiracy theories about it saying how they tested it, and if true i'm not surprised why the American's took Germany's top scientists over to america....good article though.

Im pretty sure Nazi "invented" the flying saucers period.

I think the idea of recovering a Ufo is unrational. If they are truly Aliens visiting, they should've had taugh of a mechanism that erases all trace of the ufo whenever it crashes. OR they could simply remove the traces themself.

Were not caveman and we werent' back then either. Reverse engineering is a concept that should be understood by an advance lifeform.

The idea alone of an advance spacecraft crashing is doubtful enough.

Before pointing out the sky, we should shed a light on our black history. We'll need alot more than a flashlight.

Dont know how relevant this is but Algol is the name of a star in the constellation of Perseus... it is meant to be one of the stars that make up the Medusa's head. If memory serves me right the traslation into English from Arabic means... winking demons eye...

I believe they were responsible for CREATING the first flying saucers. I've seen a documentery about it on UFO FILES. They showed pretty convincing evidence and information.

If the Nazi's would have had this kind of technology I think they would have been able win the war.

They did have the Messerschmidt ME-262 which was the worlds first jet fighter aircraft. It was the most advanced figher of this time. But it was plagued by engine problems due to the unreliable Junkers Jet engines.

This is the closest thing the Germans made in terms of a "UFO". Which I'm sure at the time many Allied pilots may have confused this with a "flying saucer" considering the ME-262 was well capable of acheiving speeds over 500 M.P.H.

twas called project paperclip. Both russia and america had their share of scientist. Thats a big part of what started the cold war.

Still was experimental at that time. The "foo figthers" as some allied pilot called them, were not jets. They were said to be stationary objetcts, that could change direction rapidly.

Reason why germans lost the war was caused by its officers, wich were either unreliable, or conspiracist. Hitler itself dint help its cause at the end, when attacking russia.

Well I don't really think it was the officers fault as much as it was Hitler's being so stubborn. His advisors disagreed with several things he did but he wouldn't listen. (Like you said with Russia).

I think the ultimate mistake was the (Japan) bombing Pearl Harbor. The United States would have entered the war regardless in due time, but this only hastened it. Had Hitler waited a few years before starting his conquest, he could have had advanced technology and taken over Britain in a very short time. Thus making the United States having a much more difficult, if not impossible, task ahead of them.

Also the Nazis have a moon base, they reached it as early as 1942, they were also met by the Americans. The craft was liike a submarine innsidie, lots of men working different pulleys and other contraptions.

But just that thinking alone isn't enough to explain away all of the things exposed on that episode of UFO: Files. To me it looks as if they DID make saucers. Why didn't they use them to win the war? I don't know. But that's not a reason to ignore the possability.

I hear what you are saying. My question is if the Nazi's did have flying saucers, how come none have been found?

I also believe they talked about a book "Rise of Ten Thousand Suns" or close to it. Which was about Germany's attempts at an atom bomb. In it was a chapter or two about Germany's flying saucer programs. This book was supposedly hunted down and every copy was destroyed shorty after the war.

An addendum to all tihs... About 10 years ago in the pages of the Fortean Times there was an article about a supposed Movie made in Australia in the late 1920s early 30s involving some sort of alien invasion where cattle were found mutialted.... I dont know if anyone ever managed to either verify of debunk the moives existance...

The idea of flying saucers being a product of Nazi or even Soviet technology during World War II or the Cold War is utter absurdity. I could go on at length as to why this is the case, but rather than repeating myself I will instead refer you to a thread I created regarding this controversy: Potential UFO Origins
