I love these images. I consider them as a sort of art, made by humans not with their hands, but with their minds

IMHO "I doth think she protest too much!" Ms. Meredith Cohen seems to have some serious envy issues going on here. Her over all sarcasm in addressing this touchy issue screams with 'wish I had of experienced 'that' and became famous'. I mean really, why do you suppose she wrote this article to begin with? Reaction could go either way with the public, but either way, she still gets her 15 minutes. May not be a big 15, but hey we folks are talking about her so others must me too. I like the images. I think anything that brings a sense of comfort to a soul should be respected and not be made mock... [More]

I wonder what she would do if Some "gentiles" started mocking her judaism? Probably try and have them arrested for a hate crime.

That's great if the images bring comfort to someone but don't go around saying that they are likenesses of somebody when there are no images available to compare them to. And shame on any religious organization that gives credence to such a claim. I doubt you will find any established religious organization that will recognize value in these tricks of the eye. I think faith should be about a lot more than seeing a religious icon on a pastry. If we could see God in each other--that would be something to talk about.
