Hints of huge water reservoirs on Mars

Mars is losing little water to space, according to new research, so much of its ancient abundance may still be hidden beneath the surface. Dried up riverbeds and other evidence imply that Mars once had enough water to fill a global ocean more than 600 metres deep, together with a thick atmosphere of carbon dioxide that kept the planet warm enough for the water to be liquid.

But the planet is now very dry and has a thin atmosphere.

Only way to find it is to start drilling for it. Seems simple enough for robots to do. China will go for it if no one else wants to I imagine.

I'm tellin ya, its geysers!!!

Geysers helped form the atmosphere on Mars. I bet that we'll find out in the future that the resovoirs that hold the water underground, at one time fueled geysers on Mars.

There is a good chance that this underground water on Mars is liquid. But unfortunately there doesn't appear to be much of a volcano activate on Mars at the moment. It is also unknown if the volcanoes that exist on Mars are still active or not (far as I know).
