The universe itself is a part of something that is unlike the universe. Just as a primitive might view the earth long ago without knowing about the universe. But what is it? What was before the big bang? The outer universe might have little to do and have little in common with the actual universe. Maybe it's a gigantic by-product of something else that's yet to be discovered.

We still have much to discover, explore and learn to be asking ourselves this questions. Maybe the big bang theory isnt correct, maybe there is another origin to the universe, I know that the big bang is the one that makes most sense but when you look at the universe you realise that nothing that happens in it makes much sense at all.

What if the universe is constantly recreating itself? We know galaxies collide, absorbing each other until eventually the universe will be one big "super galaxy". What if this "super galaxy' collapses under its own weight into a giant black hole then restarts itself in a "big bang" again. This thought is actually a Native American ( Algonquian) pantheistic philosophy of a recreating living universe that doing this constantly. But what if it is scientific fact? Lapiche
