Oh man (it got my attention) I knew about the San Pedro "bleeding" house and the "attic poltergeist" case on a local news special about haunted houses in Southern California. A rare event for a ghost to physically attack the living, other than the case in the early '90s, long after several horror movies about the poltergeist phenomena was produced.
Let me start by saying that I am a believer in the paranormal. Cases like this, though, I just don't understand. Now, this is the first I have heard about this particular case, but did the investigators take samples of the mysterious slime seeping out of the walls. Did they have these samples tested. This was supposed to be a terrifying house with an evil entity but yet the only evidence we see is some jelly smeared on the wall and a single photo of a guy apparently being attacked. Barry Conrad quickly managed to catch that on tape. The ooze was studied and taken to a forensics lab at UCLA. The results were that it was human blood plasma with high levels of iodine and copper. It’s important to note that the team reported smelling like rust or oxidation when entering the home. There was also the overwhelming stench of decomposing matter, which is a good indica... [More]
Thats just it. It SAYS it was tested. Thats it. I could SAY I have a purple ostritch living in my bathroom, but does that make it fact? That is one reason I am so skeptical of all these sensationalized hauntings. They say a lot, but never offer any real proof. Show me the lab report from UCLA, that would be a start. How about more video evidence other than one still shot of a guy looking like he is being hanged. I could recreate that photo with a disposable camera from the drugstore. So, so far this is reported to be one of the most vile and violent hauntings ever recorded. It is taken as fact... [More]
