Very interesting topic.  Personally, I am against the mingling of species in this way but I can understand the desire to experiment.  The reality is that if this blending is possible, someone will pay to research it for profit.  I just hope no one creates a really special strain of critter that runs amok and kills millions of clueless innocents.  It disgusts me that there are probably human clones walking around in the world today.  People tend toward the lowest common denominator where ethics and money are intertwined and some things shouldn't be left to chance.

Ehh...I don't know about that one. I do know that for as long as we have these uber curious monkey brains, we're going to create first and ask questions later. Animal/human experiments have been going on in basement labs around the world since the advent of modern medicine, I reckon.
