Why do we find snakes so creepy ?



Over the years, our brains have become hardwired to pick up the telltale signs of a snake.

Because some of them have venom that can kill us? Seems fairly straight forward to me.

interesting that some scientists think we might have developed our color vision in part to detect snakes. And yes, wiggling 'sticks' can indeed be dangerous. Glad we know that now.
