You can't do something until it becomes technically feasible and economically viable. If you have actually watched the video you will know that this is not YET a mining mission, these are precursor missions which will, hopefully, lead to asteroid mining becoming technically feasible in the near future. As to whether it is economically viable in the near term, that remains to be seen. This is happening now because it is finally possible NOW.
