Thank you for sharing this, Saru I think that also hearing 'You are welcome' allows the receiver to have their 'Thank you' acknowledged. I realise that sometimes people will get into a 'Thank you' war, where both parties, the receiver and the giver will say Thank you. The receiver saying 'Thank you for receiving' and the giver saying 'Thank you' to the receiver when accepting their Thank you. 'Thank You' is so easy to say and shouldn't need thinking about. It should come out naturally along with 'please'. It's just good manners plain and simple.
