Q. What is this site about ?
Unexplained Mysteries is a site that explores the unknown, the unsolved and the unusual. We cover subjects ranging from the mysteries of ancient Egypt and frontier sciences to the more controversial such as conspiracies, metaphysics, spirituality and the paranormal. We also provide a place to discover and discuss alternative topics and to meet other people who share similar interests.
Q. How long has this site been running for ?
Under the title 'Unexplained Mysteries' the site has been running since March 2001. It existed as far back as 1998 as a small web page under a number of alternative names such as "Encyclopedia of the Unexplained", but did not take off properly until we moved to our current domain name.
Q. What are the benefits of registering ?
Although registration is not compulsory, it will provide you with access to additional site features that are not available to non-registered 'guest' users. Registration only takes a few moments and is completely free. Registered users can :
