Not an arrival point

Humility is a virtue, it is not an arrival point. It is like patience, we are patient when we don't feel patient but act as if we are anyway. Humility is not low self esteem, nor is it being a door mat for others. It is about knowing the truth about oneself and not being afraid of that truth, but beginning anew from that point. "That point" is always before us I believe. The only truly humble person, would be one who knows his or herself fully and since there is no human who can do that, I would say we all on the way. As a Christian, I would believe that we are called to be ever more human and since Christ was truly completely human, then he would be truly humble.

Some of those who do the 12 step program or probably closest to being truly humble I believe.
