What is feared and ignored

How did it get so late so soon?

When young we have so much time….or we think so. Then after so much water has (rushed) under the bridge we find this is not so. The years are cut in half, then half again, and we rush towards what is often feared or ignored. Yet, we also learn to not take ‘time’ for granted, and hopefully seek to find out life’s purpose; if there is any. For some their faith deepens, others some cause deemed worthy is pursued, and then there are those who don’t think at all and drift. Yet if death is the cosmic wake up call, perhaps it should be pondered more. If death is just blinking out, it does little to ponder or think about it at all. I believe our demise is a wake up call, and what is important in our lives is what is often forgotten or overlooked. Our hearts know what that is, but it is in silence that we find not only what we are for, but our true worth. Words only give life if they touch the heart.

If our life is a seed

planted at our death,

what is the fruit

of our travels?
